What the work involves

Court lines, playground layouts, and game surfaces painted to the right dimensions. Mountain courts take the same UV and freeze punishment as everything else, so the surface underneath usually needs attention before the lines go down.

Why it matters at this elevation

Layout accuracy is most of the job. Accurate dimensions, correct spacing, and markings placed where they are supposed to be matter more than the brand of paint. Getting that right on fresh sealcoat, while the old lines are gone, is the easiest it will ever be.

In the low 6,000s the season is real but not generous. Pavement at this elevation usually needs the snow gone and the base genuinely dry before sealer will bond, which in most years puts the start in June. Fall closes the window early too, so crack work is the piece that has to happen before the weather turns.

How the job runs

On a resealed surface the striping goes onto fresh black, which is both the best looking and the best bonding version of the job. On existing pavement we work over the ghost lines. Either way the paint needs dry pavement and enough warmth to set before traffic returns.

Old Greenwood pavement specifically

Private road networks, clubhouse and amenity lots, cart paths, and member driveways. The mix means a season here often combines sealcoating on the roads with striping on the lots and crack work across everything.

Proximity to the freeway makes this one of the more accessible communities we work, which matters at the end of a season when the calendar is tight and weather is closing the window on higher ground.

Old Greenwood is a short run east from the yard, right off the Interstate 80 corridor through Truckee.

Markings here have to survive plow blades and months under snow, so the restripe cycle runs shorter than an owner would expect from a lot down the hill.
