What the work involves
Red curb, lane striping, and lettering to whatever your fire authority requires. Fire lanes that have faded out are the kind of thing that gets cited on an inspection, and up here they fade fast under plows and snow.

Day lots, employee lots, service yards, and lodge frontage take plows, chains, and surge traffic all winter, then have to look presentable for a summer season that is now a real business.
Markings are how resort pavement communicates. When they fade, the layout stops working and the property starts looking unmanaged, which is the impression nobody is paying for.
How the job runs
Most areas are back in service the same day, since traffic paint sets fast in summer conditions. Fresh work gets coned off until it will not track. When striping follows a sealcoat it is the sealer cure that sets the schedule, not the paint.
Resorts do best working in phases around the summer operating calendar, with large lots sectioned so events and bike operations keep running.

Fresh markings do practical work beyond looking sharp. They keep parking orderly so a lot holds the number of vehicles it was laid out for, they keep required lanes and stalls legible, and they signal that somebody is minding the property.
What a job usually looks like
A resort season usually opens with crack work across the big lots, because those long working cracks feed snowmelt into the base for half the year. Surface and markings follow once the pavement is genuinely dry.

Do you handle the whole job or subcontract it?
Our own crew does the work. Four people with a great deal of Sierra pavement between them, out of the Truckee yard. That is also why the schedule is finite and why booking early matters.
Is there a minimum job size?
No. Driveways are a large share of what we do and small jobs get grouped efficiently on the schedule. The thing that makes a small job hard is calling in late August, not the size of it.
